Hot Fudge Brownie Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Brownie Batter:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Hot Fudge Swirl:

  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter:
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  1. Combine with Hot Fudge:
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter on top, and then drizzle the rest of the hot fudge sauce on top.
  • Use a knife or skewer to swirl the fudge into the brownie batter gently.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few fudgy crumbs are okay).
  • Keep in mind that baking time may vary, so start checking closer to the 40-minute mark.
  1. Cool and Serve:
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and serve with additional hot fudge sauce if desired, or enjoy it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Tips:

  • For added texture, you can mix in some chocolate chips or nuts into the brownie batter.
  • This bread can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Reheating slices in the microwave for a few seconds makes them extra gooey!

Enjoy your delicious Hot Fudge Brownie Bread!
