Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups leftover turkey, chopped or shredded
  • 2 cups leftover stuffing (any kind)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup cooked vegetables (like celery, onions, or carrots), optional
  • 1-2 eggs, beaten (you may adjust based on the consistency you want)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (for coating, optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Herbs and spices (like thyme, sage, or garlic powder), optional
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the leftover turkey, stuffing, cheese, cooked vegetables (if using), and any desired herbs and spices. Add the beaten eggs and mix everything until well combined. The mixture should hold together; if it’s too dry, you can add another egg.
  3. Form Balls:
With your hands, form mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter. If desired, roll the balls in breadcrumbs for an extra crunchy texture.
  4. Bake:
Place the turkey stuffing balls on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil or spray lightly with cooking spray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  5. Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. These can be enjoyed as they are or served with gravy, cranberry sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
  6. Store:
Leftover stuffing balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or they can be frozen for longer storage.

Enjoy!

These turkey stuffing balls are versatile and can be served as an appetizer, snack, or even a main dish. Customize them with your favorite spices and herbs to make them your own!
